Our Story
EthioCraft is an online boutique created by Milena Girma, a Washington DC - based creative whose work bridges heritage, design, and discovery. What began with a love for Habesha adornment and African craft has grown into a destination for handmade jewelry, vintage and new clothing, and antique treasures.
Every item is chosen for its story, not just its style. We specialize in small-batch collections. Each collection is rare and intentional, whether it’s a handcrafted Ethiopian cross, a bold Kenyan necklace, a vintage dress, or an antique object with history. Most of our jewelry and materials are sourced from minority- and locally owned suppliers across Africa and the diaspora.
Our vintage and antique finds are hand-selected for their uniqueness and character. Every purchase supports artisans, sustains traditions, and invests in community. EthioCraft also lives beyond the screen. Through pop-ups and curated in-person experiences, we create space to connect with the pieces and with each other.
